Definitely a wonderful curio item for an Australian label to be releasing. Special Cases is Juan Pablo Rodriguez, a Chilean musician and founding member of the amazing psychedelic outfit, Follakzoid. Follakzoid have toured Australia before and have several releases on the hipper-than-hip NYC label, Sacred Bones. Special Cases is a first-time-on-vinyl reissue of a tape he released in 2014 which features recordings from 2011 - 2012. It's simply incredible synth explorations, sometimes delving into organic space-rock grooves, cosmic Kraut sounds and minimal-techno beats. In short, if you dig Follakzoid, you will most certainly like/love Special Cases
